What's an iPod Got To Do With It?

This is so cool, you are going to want to take the trip for this alone! The Trip Leaders are working* to provide video iPods for all students, sorry just for the duration of the class, June to September. And not just video iPods, but video iPods with ALL the extras, like cameras and microphones.

Instead of keeping a journal like they did in 1643, we will blog our way thru Asia, iPods in hand. Each day, we will connect to the Team Apple Laptop, update your personal trip blog with photos, audio clips of lectures and interviews, conversations with people on the train, and more.

One of the major uses of the iPods will be the "Entrepreneur Scavenger Hunt." The class will be divided into Teams and sent into the city to digitally capture meetings with people on the street. Before the trip, the class will produce a multi-lingual question sheet that will be used to interview as many people as possible. The goal is to answer the trip question, "If these countries are similar in so many ways, why is entrepreneurship so very different?"

Worried about the language? Think your iPod can help with that? Before the trip we will load our iPods with an audio language helper for Korean and Japanese. Need to ask someone about their views on entrepreneurship in Korean? Let your iPod help!

The iPods will allow your friends and family back home can watch your trip unfold each day!
