Study Abroad
ELIGIBILITY
The program is open to undergraduate
and graduate students who meet all academic requirements
of the Georgia State University Robinson College
of Business (see appropriate university catalog).
Program size is limited and participation is contingent
upon acceptance by the program director. Non-GSU
students are encouraged to apply. Alumni and
GSU-friends are also welcome.
Study Abroad
CREDIT
Participants who successfully
complete the program will receive six
(6) semester hours of credit from Georgia
State University. Undergraduate students register
for IB 4410. Graduate students register for IB 8410.

Participants will stay in
business
hotels in Japan and S. Korea.

COST
The fee
is tentatively set at $4250, with a $250 non-refundable
deposit due at time of application. The remainder
is due February 28, 2006. Students also pay regular
Georgia State University tuition fees. Students
who wish to travel at their own expense to other
places in Asia should consult with the program director.
Changes are always possible so the cost of the program
may vary according to currency fluctuations and
adjusted travel arrangements.

Study Abroad
RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY
Georgia State University
provides health insurance
coverage to program participants. GSU does not assume
responsibility for damage or loss of any personal
effects. A waiver of liability
and a physician's form is required of each participant.
All forms must be submitted with the application
and deposit. Please see the program director for
more information.
Participants
must obtain their own passports.
Japan nor South Korea require Visas for US citizens.
Nationals of other countries may need visas depending
on their country of citizenship. International students
should check with the local Consulate General offices.
The University
reserves the right to alter program arrangements
if required by circumstances.
During this study abroad, all students are required
to participate in all class functions, including
all meetings with various government and educational
officials, and entrepreneurs.

APPLICATION AND INFORMATION
Participants may apply to
the program director in person or by mail using
the attached application. The application
deadline is February 28, 2006. Because the
size of the program is limited, early application
is strongly advised. Individual interviews will
be scheduled with students upon receipt of the application.
Once notified of acceptance, a $250 non-refundable
deposit will be required to confirm your acceptance
to the program. The remaining $4,000 payment must
be made no later than February 28, 2006. Make all
checks payable to Georgia State University. Applications
made after February 28th must include full payment.

Designed for graduate and undergraduate
students. For all students, permission of the Professors
is required.
